National, 10 March 25: Filmfare held a press conference today to announce the Joy
Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025, an event that celebrates and honours remarkable talent and art of storytelling in Bengali cinema. The conference was graced by Subhashree Ganguly, Sunil Agarwal (Chairman & Co-Founder, Joy Personal Care), Poulomi Roy (Chief Marketing Officer, Joy Personal Care), and Jitesh Pillai (Editor-in-Chief, Filmfare).
The conference began with a symbolic lamp-lighting, marking the official launch of Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025. In a special moment, the iconic ‘Black Lady’ trophy was revealed to the audience present at the conference.
The highly anticipated Filmfare Awards night promises to be a dazzling affair, featuring spectacular performances by Subhashree Ganguly, Barkha Bisht, and Puja Banerjee. The show will be anchored by Raj Chakrabarty, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Puja Banerjee. Scheduled for March 18th, 2025, the grand event will take place at JW Marriott, Kolkata.
The nominations for the year 2025 have been released for technical & popular categories, a total of 25 categories (detailed list shared below).
